Southern Water

Southern Water is the utility responsible for wastewater collection and treatment in Hampshire, the Isle of Wight, West Sussex, East Sussex and Kent, and for water supply and distribution in the approximately half of this area.


Scottish Water

Scottish Water is a state-owned company in Scotland that provides water and sewerage services to 2.2 million customers and 130,000 business customers.


Northern Ireland Water

Northern Ireland Water is a Government Owned Company (GoCo), set up in April 2007 to provide the water and sewerage services in Northern Ireland. That means we supply 560 million litres of clean water a day for almost 1.8 million people as well as treating 320 million litres of wastewater a day.


National Grid

National Grid plc is a United Kingdom based utilities company which also operates in other countries, principally in the United States. National Grid is dedicated to being the world’s premier network utility. Their core skills lie primarily in the management of large and complex energy delivery networks. They own, operate and develop the high-voltage electricity transmission network in England and Wales and Great Britain’s principal natural gas transportation system.


Scottish Power

Scottish Power is an international energy company, made up of four businesses: Energy Retail, Energy Wholesale and Energy Networks in the UK and PPM Energy in the US. Through these businesses they provide electricity, transmission and distribution services in the UK; supply in excess of 5.2 million electricity and gas services to homes and businesses across the UK; and operate electricity generation and gas storage facilities in the UK, US and western Canada.


UK Power Networks

UK Power Networks manages Britain’s biggest power networks, distributing electricity to more than eight million customers in London, the East of England and the South East. It employs over 5500 employees. The company is owned by the Cheung Kong Group (CKG) who took ownership in October 2010 following the sale by EDF Energy of its electricity distribution networks operation.


Electricity North West

Electricity North West owns, operates and maintains the electricity distribution network and provides connection services throughout the North West of England.


SGN

SGN manage the network that distributes natural and green gas to 5.9 million homes and businesses across Scotland and the south of England.


Irish Rail

A subsidiary of Córas Iompair Éireann, Iarnród Éireann provides passenger and freight rail services as well as operating Rosslare Europort.


Network Rail

Network Rail is an engineering company responsible for revitalising Britain’s railways. They do not run the trains, but their main customers are the train and freight operating companies who do. Network Rail’s task is to deliver a reliable and safe rail network. Safety is their primary concern and they are spending more than £6 billion to maintain, improve and upgrade every aspect of the railway infrastructure including; the track, signalling systems, bridges, viaducts, tunnels, level crossings and stations.


Transport for London

Transport for London (TfL) was created in 2000 as the integrated body responsible for the Capital’s transport system. The primary role of TfL, which is a functional body of the Greater London Authority, is to implement the Mayor of London’s Transport Strategy and manage transport services across the Capital.
